Logan’s Story

Despite working throughout his university years, Logan graduated from UCLA with over $36,000 in student loans.  Shortly after starting his first job — and a few days after turning 21 years old — he took out a $15,000 auto loan because he didn’t want to take the bus to work anymore.

With over $50,000 in debt, Logan had officially started his adult life the American way!

Within a few years of graduation, Logan was fortunate enough to refinance his student loans, which freed up enough cash flow for him to put money down on his first house hack: a four-unit property in the Los Angeles area.

Through other real estate and stock investments as well as his online business ventures — including Money Done Right — Logan was able to pay off all his non-mortgage debt, quit his job, and pursue entrepreneurship full-time before he turned 30.

Logan spent nearly a decade at at an international financial services firm before founding Money Done Right to communicate modern ideas on earning, saving, and investing money.

On a weekly basis, Logan is quoted as a personal finance expert in major publications around the web, including Forbes, USA Today, CNBC, NBC News, MarketWatch, Bankrate, U.S. News & World Report, American Express, Fox Business, Discover.com, NerdWallet, The Balance, CreditCards.com, Credit Karma, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Money.com, LendingClub, The Simple Dollar, Business.com, Business News Daily, Benzinga, CNET, The Wire Cutter, Fundera, Lendio, Funding Circle, Mint.com, GOBankingRates, The Points Guy, Quicken, LegalZoom, Reader’s Digest, Mic, Bustle, Apartment Therapy, AskMen, and more.
