Is it really possible to get free money fast? You’d better believe it!
The fact of the matter is that there are dozens of businesses giving away thousands of dollars worth of free money and gift cards per year to promote their brand.
Some are legit, and others aren’t.
In this article I show you the top legitimate ways to get free money fast.
Keep in mind that there may be other, longer-term ways to make money, such as blogging (we make over $10,000 a month), but the items below are ways to get free money in the short-term.

1. Get $100 from Chime.
Right now, Chime is giving away $100 if you sign up through our link and receive a qualifying direct deposit of $200 or more within 45 days of opening your Chime account.

2. Get free stocks.
Right now, several stock brokers are giving away free stocks worth anywhere from a few bucks to $2,000.
Lucky for you, I put together a list of all the brokerages giving away free stocks right now.
How Much You’ll Make: This totally depends on the random stocks the brokerages give you, but if you sign up for multiple brokerages in the article linked to above, you’ll get at least $50 worth of free stock (even if you’re only given cheap stocks).
3. Get cash back on gas.

How Much You’ll Make: This depends on how often you get gas, but I earned about $5 on my first fill-up. I personally don’t drive very much so I personally don’t make very much on gas cash back, but this can be a real game-changer if you’re on the road a lot.
4. Take surveys.
Surveys are one of the quickest ways to get free money.
You can sit at home in your pajamas and watch television while taking surveys, so in our book, that’s pretty much free money.
The trick is that there are only a few legit survey sites, and it’s not like you’re going to make a fortune, but you will make something.
If I had to recommend a single survey site, it’d be Survey Junkie.

5. Get a credit card bonus.
Credit cards often give large signup bonuses of at least a few hundred dollars.
For example, right now Citi’s brand-new Custom Cash card is giving new users a $200 bonus if they spend at least $750 in the first three months.
The Citi Custom Cash is giving $200 in cash back after you spend $750 with the card within your first three months of having it. You also earn 5% cash back on certain categories every month!
6. Get paid to play mobile games.
This is another one of those passive income ideas where you get paid to do something you enjoy, so it’s not really work at all.
How it works is you download a free new app, then download new mobile games through the app.
As you level up in the mobile games, you earn more points that you can redeem for gift cards at Amazon, VISA, PlayStation, Xbox, Apple, Starbucks, and more.
7. Win up to $1,000,000 playing a free slots app.
Long Game is a free app that basically gamifies and rewards you for your savings.
Here’s how Long Game works:
(1) You deposit money into your Long Game account and earn interest on it. Note that this money belongs to you, just like it does in your bank account. Long Game does not collect any fees out of the money you put in, and you can withdraw it at any time.
(2) Long Game gives you coins depending on how much you have saved in your Long Game account.

Gladly, those days are over. You can now list your spare room on Airbnb and screen out prospective guests. (Guests are rated by their hosts for things like cleanliness and communication.)
