Here Are the 2 Best Paid Survey Sites of 2024 (You Don’t Need Freaking 30)
Online SurveysWe may receive a commission if you sign up or purchase through links on this page. Here's more information.
It’s 2024, and most survey sites are still crap.
They will will sell your information, constantly send you spammy emails, and only pay you in gift cards and not in cash.
That’s why I have mixed feelings about personal finance sites that list a bunch of survey sites, telling you to sign up for all of them.
They do this so that they can get a commission from all of them, knowing full well that 98% of them are garbage.

But There Are Legit Survey Companies.
It’s true. There are some good ones out there. And you shouldn’t throw out the baby with the bathwater.
There are legit, non-spammy survey companies that actually pay you in cash.
And you only need the two best ones to make a decent side income if you are willing to put in the work.
You Need a Method.
Now, I don’t want you to get crazy ideas. In order to make decent money taking online surveys, you are going to have to take a lot of surveys and will likely need to invest at least a few hours a day taking surveys.
And you also need a method.
You can’t just sign up for survey companies and wildly start taking surveys.
Below we’ve described our method for maximizing survey revenue from our two favorite, highest-paying, and legit survey companies, Survey Junkie and Swagbucks.
1. Survey Junkie
Probably the most awesome online survey I’ve ever taken was through SurveyJunkie. It was a music review survey! I made $50 for 2.25 hours of my time.
1. Sign up for Survey Junkie.
It only takes a minute to sign up with Survey Junkie. And it is 100% free.
2. Take surveys with a points-to-minute ratio of 5 or greater.
You can calculate a SurveyJunkie survey’s points-to-minute ratio by dividing its “SB Amount” by its “Time to Complete”.
For example, for the first survey in the image above would have a SB-to-minute ratio of 3.75 (75 / 20).
This is less than 5, so we would pass on that survey.
But the next survey would have a SB-to-minute ratio of 8.45 (465 / 55).
This is greater than 5, so we would take it.
4. Aim to take at least 5 surveys per day.
Set aside time every day to take online surveys, and you can make an extra $100, $500, or even $1,000 every month taking online surveys.
2. Swagbucks
Here’s how you can make top dollar with Swagbucks Gold Surveys.
You will also receive a $5 sign-up bonus if you sign up through our Swagbucks $5 Sign-Up Bonus Link.
1. Sign up for Swagbucks and get a $5 sign-up bonus.
It only takes a minute to sign up, after which you’ll receive a welcome email. And it’s free!
2. Once you’re logged in, click on “Answer” in the left panel.
3. Sort the surveys by “SB amount”.
4. Take surveys with a SB-to-minute ratio of 15 or greater.
You can calculate a survey’s SB-to-minute ratio by dividing its “SB Amount” by its “Time to Complete”.
You can use the calculator below to help you calculate the ratio for a given survey.
For example, for the first survey in the image above would have a SB-to-minute ratio of 8.3 (500 / 60).
This is less than 15, so we would pass on that survey.
But the next survey would have a SB-to-minute ratio of 80.0 (400 / 5).
This is greater than 15, so we would take it.
5. Aim to take at least 5 surveys per day.
If you want to make the money, you have to put in the work.
Do your best to take at least 5 surveys per day.

Hi,
Please i need to know the survey sites that allows Nigerians to Participate.
Great tips! Haha I loved that you said we don’t need 30. That’s so often the recommendation.
Thanks for the post and great site…I have tried Swagbucks and Inbox, but not Survey Junkie yet…I will sign up today
Swag bucks is A SCAM! I know this first hand. They will get you to fill out a 30 minute or more survey then at the very end after you finish it will say you do not qualify or some technical issues will pop up. This happened to me literally 90% of the time. I took it very seriously too wanting to make long term extra money so I was very honest. I’m 42 and not some dumb greedy kid. I went by the book but that’s how they make money. It’s total bait n switch when you factor in all the hours you don’t get paid because of technical issues it’s a scam. I got zero points after 8 hours!!!! Go elsewhere.
I respectfully disagree. While I am getting fewer survey opportunities overall due to my age (I just turned 60 — woo hoo!), I have earned about $500 in a couple of years from Swagbucks. But you do have to do the good work of accurate survey responses, plus you need to take time to learn about all the other ways to earn bonus Swagbucks — like making Swagbucks your default browser.
Glad to discover this blog! You’ve got some awesome information clearly. Thanks for telling us about these two survey sites. The only experience I’ve had with Surveys is ONGO I think it’s called. I was disqualified for 85% of the surveys because of reasons like I visited two of the three retailers they were asking about instead of just visiting the one they’re looking for. The phone GPS verifies if you were actually there and it’s how users attract surveys. I’m not using it any more because it got discouraging after a while. I’ll see how these two go.
Hi Scott. I’m sorry to hear about your poor experience with ONGO. Perhaps we’ll review it here on the site in the future.
